I would put Debian on this list, and while Ubuntu is (deservedly) getting lots of press (full disclosure – I use Ubuntu on all my desktops), Debian has been instrumental in the Open Source world. Its free software guidelines became the basis for the Open Source Definition. Great list, though

okay, there’s a lot of people who need schooling here
and i guess i have to do it:
*wordpress is blogging software (one of the first) and is not capariable to drupal. wordpress’s source is nicer too.

Good choices but I agree with Roberto Galoppini you should look at OpenOffice numbers.
