@Maffelu Ah, yes… good suggestion… that would make for a great post. Why, I recall my early times on these Intertubes and how I was a fervent proponent of Excite.com as a search engine at the time. (shudder) That was while I was on the Prodigy dial-up ISP. (Double shudder.)

Woa! The Xerox interface was indeed ahead of its time. That is quite impressive.

You should make another entry like this but with old webpages if someone has kept screenshots. Those things can be quite interesting too.
We all remember how searchengines looked in the mid nineties.
