I think netbooks have helped create this new &quot;thin and light&quot; class of machines which fit right between netbooks and full size standard notebooks.

I have been keeping and eye on netbooks reviews and ultra portables at http://www.netbookreviews.net/ and am seeing more thin and lights.

The new Asus UL20A is the size of a large netbook, has good battery life (7hrs+), and is more powerful, but at $200 or so more, it will put some people off.  But I would rather have a more powerful machine.

I think it can eat into the netbook market, or, netbooks will get more powerful, and the two will merge into one.</description>
